Ørth looks like a red hunk of rock-like material. He is fat.

Description

Ørth is an Overworld Earth Elementalist.

Character History

At one point, Ørth challenged Gespedan, one of the fastest OverWorlders, to a race. The cocky speedster accepted and the two began their competition. However, Ørth used a very tricky piece of battlegear called the Sahrnokk. This resulted in Gespedan becoming temporarily paralyzed and Ørth winning the race. As the victor, Ørth won the naming rights to Gespedan's next child.

Strategies

Ørth is best utilized in elemental style decks, while his ability can provide a decent attack boost it comes at the cost of being dependant on a randomized location deck. To take full advantage of Ørth's ability, you should stack your location deck with element initiatives that allign with your attack deck, aswell as using creatures that have a plethora of elements as to not loose any values if a less ideal location is drawn.

The Ø in Ørth's name is a vowel and letter used in the Danish language. Phonetically it makes a 'u' sound (like in the word 'burn') meaning that Ørth's name sounds like "Earth" when spoken correctly which is appropriate for his appearance and Element.
The tale of the race between Ørth and Gespeden's race mirrors that of The Tortoise and the Hare.
In the DS version of Chaotic: Shadow Warriors, Ørth appears as an UnderWorlder instead of an OverWorlder.
Ørth bears an uncanny resemblance to Oogie Boogie, the main antagonist of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.
