Gronmor — chaotic

Gronmor is an OverWorld Minion Creature in the Beyond the Doors set.

Appearance

Gronmor resembles a blue humanoid salamander creature. He also appears to wield tech-based armor.

Background

Gronmor was one of the many Creatures to be brainwashed during the M'arrillian Invasion. The Surprising Riffs Mugic card appears to indicate that this happened after the titular Mugic was played, causing Gronmor's Telebracers to fail, thus causing him to be struck full-force by a M'arrillian tidal wave.

Strategies

You can run him in decks with Tangath Toborn, In Training or Tarterek, Psi Overloader. Can be equipped with Citadel Fragments or Drilldozer. In a deck with Intress, Natureforce. With three elements and a fire 5 provides versatility in OverWorld decks, making it an ideal fighting Creature in OverWorld elemental decks.

In a M'arrillian Deck, he can be incredibly useful with the Chieftain Erak'tabb. Aquatic Familiar can be used to boost his Wisdom to more effectively take advantage of Erak'tabb. Note however that his lack of Mugic ability means he faces competition from Gimwei.
