Background Information

Clodor is a warrior that calls the Eye of the Maelstrom home. He has a very unique ability: he can bring mugicians back from the Eye. How he learned it is unknown, but many believe that Clodor is not native to Perim, that he hails from a land beyond the Eye...^{[citation needed]}

Clodor is a humanoid made of pure blue lightning with some sort of harness that limits the power he holds inside his body.

Strategies

While Clodor's ability sounds powerful on paper, it has very little practical use in an actual game. Unlike Fluidmorphers, Clodor must be in combat to gain Mugic counters and does so relatively slowly and less reliably compared to Fluidmorph. Furthermore, as OverWorld has many Creatures with high Mugic ability and thus does not need the ramp-up to play their Mugic cards, there is little incentive to use Clodor instead of playing a more potent fighting Creature or Mugic caster, as Clodor's Energy is mediocre and he has no way to boost his damage output. He does have synergy with Ikkatosh, the Aich King due to having no Elemental types, but even there, he is outclassed by Creatures like Aivenna, Garv, and Drabe due to them having better Energy and utility.

Note that Mindrazor and Mind Mash can give up to three Mugic counters to Clodor as he triggers on each successful Challenge.

Trivia

Clodor is one of the smartest creatures in all of Perim, as his cards contain 95 Wisdom.
