Song of Deflection is a Mipedian Mugic in the Dawn of Perim set.

Background

Though opinions differ, the Song of Deflection is arguably the greatest of all Mipedian Mugic. There’s no doubt that it’s one of the trickiest and most treacherous. It captures another Mugic and redirects it at a new target, usually the caster of the original Mugic. It’s both Mugical denial and Mugical re-targeting ... and it’s as punishing as the desert itself.^[1]
